Maryland certified provider of cybersecurity services, eTrepid, steps in to provide free technical support to businesses facing difficulty with transitioning operations from physical offices to remote locations providing secure telework options in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The information technology company is harnessing offers provided by partners and industry leaders such as Microsoft, Continuum, ID Agent, and CoreDail to provide remote work options and basic cyber hygiene so teleworkers can access business information securely from any location. Support will be accompanied by a Security Awareness Training for business personnel as well.

“Business owners have been forced to quickly find innovative ways to keep their companies going resulting in many jumping onto harmful unsecure environments, while others simply do not have the support or funds needed to shift to a virtual operation,” stated eTrepid CEO and President Tom Blandford. “We are in a time where many companies in our community are struggling to find ways that will sustain their operations and our team felt compelled to help.”

eTrepid will provide free support on a first come first serve bases through June 30, 2020, to help businesses who need assistance setting-up remote working capabilities, as well as help businesses who are already set up for remote work but are having difficulty or may be working in unsecure online environments. Services will be provided with no strings attached. Businesses can apply to receive services through eTrepid’s website by visiting etrepid.com/covid19offer, completing a brief questionnaire, and scheduling an appointment. Once complete, an eTrepid eTech Team representative will reach out to see how support can be best provided.
